Baking has been my passion for as long as I can remember. My love for baking began in the kitchen with my Southern mother, who inspired me with her delicious homemade treats and passed down the traditions, techniques, and love that continue to shape my baking today.

What started as a childhood passion has grown into a lifelong journey of learning, creating, and perfecting my craft. Over the years, I’ve continued to refine my skills through hands-on experience and professional training, including baking classes at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America and, most recently, baking classes in the beautiful South of France. These experiences have expanded my knowledge, deepened my appreciation for the art of baking, and inspired me to bring something truly special to every creation.

Dreaming of having my own bakery has always been a goal that drives my dedication to crafting exceptional desserts. From carefully selecting quality ingredients to perfecting every recipe, I believe that the best baked goods are made with skill, patience, and a whole lot of love.

For me, baking is about more than delicious flavors. It’s about creating moments of happiness, bringing people together, and sharing the comfort and joy that only a homemade dessert can bring. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a smile on a customer’s face after that very first bite.

At Auntie Dar’s Sweet Spot, I combine cherished Southern baking traditions with the knowledge and inspiration I’ve gained throughout my journey. Every cake, cookie, and sweet treat is thoughtfully crafted with care, quality ingredients, and a passion for excellence.
